The Peshna cave is located six kilometers from Makedonski Brod. According to speleologists, Peshna is a cave with the largest opening in the Balkans - the opening is 40 meters high and 56 meters wide. The length of the cave is 124 meters.
Peshna has been described in the New York Times as identical to the fictional caves in Tolkien's Lord of the Rings.

Near the Peshna cave, in the village of Belica, the cycling event “Velo Che through PoreChe” is being held, organized by the cycling association “Velo Che” from Prilep. The event takes place in the middle of May, each year.

According to the legend that is still told to present day, in the 14th century, the celebrated Macedonian hero Krali Marko built a house for his sister Peshna at the very beginning of the cave, which later began to be called Peshna.
