MOUNTAIN LODGE VRTESHKA
At about 35 kilometers east of Shtip, at an altitude of 1,080 meters, in a beautiful forest setting on the Mount Plachkovica there is the ``Vrteshka`` mountain lodge, which is one of the most modern in this part of the country. The lodge, with an extraordinary panoramic view, has thirty beds, water, electricity and central heating. ``Vrteshka`` is of open type, and it works with prior reservation. The access to it is excellent - an asphalt road that passes through beautiful mountain landscapes. There are several paths starting from the lodge, by which you can climb the highest peaks of Mount Plackovica. Recently, an artificial rock for sports climbing, with several levels of difficulty, has been placed next to the mountain lodge itself.

lodge is an excellent base for all kinds of outdoor sports. Mountain biking, hiking, rock climbing and many other sports can be realized if you decide to stay at this mountain lodge.
Vrteshka is the only mountain lodge in Macedonia that has its own climbing rock. You simply cannot miss a weekend without going to Vrteshka.
